We Lost, We lost, We Gained

Our talent, our talent but their success, but their success. We spend hours trying to perfect our talent while people that just hype us think they’ll get away with a cheque from us simply because they hyped us or simply because they made us believe in ourselves as if we didn’t push when they went even photo bombing our image.
In order for us to be successful, to be anything in life, we have to sacrifice one thing that we are devoted to, regardless of which industry you find yourself in. If you don’t choose what you want to sacrifice, life will choose for you, it will take your time and energy into building someone else’s empire, into making someone else richer than they already are. If we dare to choose for ourselves what we would rather lose in order for us to be who we want to become, we’ll build our own empire. As a writer and photographer, I’ve chosen to sacrifice the well being of my eyes, lately my eyes have been teary even worse than before, haven’t told my parents all about it because that’s what I’ve given up. I’d rather wear thick glasses than to have people calling me simple or even anything other than a writer!
I grew up with people into sports, sport is basically their lives, they live for sports, and they’ve sacrificed their time with their loved ones and their physical strength in the long run.
What would you rather lose in order to be success?
