Drug in TOWN

There’s this drug in town, crushed emotions, busted veins and sober thoughts. Taking everyone by storm, there’s this new drug in town, turning individuals into lost souls and torn pupils. There’s a new drug in town.

There was once a point in my life where I vowed I’d never write about my love life but a friend of mine gave me the latest drug in town; finding myself waking up to your non-existent presence and calming myself with your silent voice in the morning; throwing shade in this valley of darkness or smiling to your touched face. Be your glove be you glove how I pray that ever happens in time. Let love flourish on what it has created or let love suffer for what it has created. There’s this drug in town, I’d tell you all about it but... it’s a drug.

I must say I must say it was kind of awkward for me at first, talking to my future in the present. Not knowing which words to use in order for you to stay a little while longer, could we have talked about the past to balance the equation?

There’s this drug in town, crushed emotions, busted veins and sober thoughts. Taking everyone by storm, there’s this new drug in town, turning individuals into lost souls and torn pupils. There’s a new drug in town.
