Curriculum Vitae

She asked her boyfriend to have a look at her curriculum vitae; he made a couple of changes here and there until her CV was at the desired standard. She was called for her interview, this made her very nervous to a point where she thought that clothes she had were not adequate for the part. They went to the nearest shop to buy an outfit for her interview; they were not sure if she was going to get the job or not but they kept on spending, printing her CV, buying her outfit and transportation.

We see this almost everywhere, where people spend so much on being presentable to businesses, while they strive into living better and to be able to ask less and do more for family. Where people believe before they are even called for their interview.

Quite a number of people go through this process, for what in return, a “thank you for your time” a “you do not meet our requirements” but the best one is when they do not even call to tell you how they feel? Not that they do not qualify it’s the mere fact of who you know there, not that they didn’t receive your CV it’s the mere fact that it was thrown away or used as a coaster.
