Are we not all evil?

Are we not all evil, are we not all rotten deep inside, are we not all just as bad as the people we point fingers at, are we not just as the same as the people we think we’re better than?

I hate knowing what angels do behind closed doors and closed curtains, hate knowing what saints do when they are comfortable or what they do when they think they are not seen or heard, hate being part of the audience that keep applauding for what they do in public, hate taking the bullet for not being ashamed of living when the doors are opened, hate pretending to be something that we’re not and seeking a similar applause to our rival angels who tend to laugh in public but gossip when the curtains close, who prefer curtains closed and windows shut.

Are we not all evil, are we not all rotten deep inside, are we not all just as bad as the people we point fingers at, are we not just as the same as the people we think we’re better than?

Confessing and pretending like they were never even seen that day, constantly taking shots for their image, taking shots to make them look better and to make us look... the same I guess.
