Holding hands with talent

We drink gallons of coffee just before we write, listening to inspiring music that set the perfect mood to begin writing, that’s just how deep this is for us. We don’t just sit down and beginning tapping these keys expecting melody from our craft. We force our talent, trying to work hard while believing we’re good enough to keep the same level consistency or the level of art we deliver.

I’ve seen dancers doing a couple of push ups just before they went on stage, a couple of my friends that play rugby find it better to listen to hip hop music just before they stepped on the pitch, to get hyped up and to be ready for the match itself, that’s how they assure that they always deliver the same level of talent each and every match they play.

There’s always going to be that one odd thing we do in order for us to be hyped up or make ourselves ready and FIRED up, we may do a couple of push ups or consider a well sung melody from the greatest artist we have today. Those moments, those moments just before we face our fears or those moments just before we hold hands with our talent in public are worth every moment, those moments are priceless they make us believe because we do.

A shot before you go on stage to make the nerves numb for a couple of minutes, loud music to set the perfect mood or a couple of random exercises to make you believe you’re on top of the world because you are. Regardless of your kind of preparation, live for that moment when you believed for the right reasons.
