Ngalesinye sikhatsi kungivisa buhlungu kutsi angikaze ngabhala ngelilwimi lasekhaya futsi angikhaze ngachabanga nokubhala ngesiSwati. Ngiyavuma angikaze ngaya kosifundzela esikoleni, lokuningi ngeke ngikubhale ngendlela yakhona, kodwa lokungivisa buhlungu kakhulu kutsi angeke ngentiwe lihlaya bantfu labangangivisisi kodwa ngiyohlekwa bantfu labafana nami.

We’ve adapted to the Western behaviours to an extent that we now see fault on the way we were raised. How is it we’re not taught our roots, has the flower become superior to its roots? Unfortunately spelling will be checked by our own and our own will be the first to point out mistakes on my spelling. How is it we now view a black person with profound English to be superior? Didn’t the scientist learn all about the animals from our grandparents? But because they are not relevant to society we perceive them as mediocre... unbelievable.

“How could our grandparents go through such labour?”

“Couldn’t they think of buying their groceries?”
