Remorse

With the number of scars behind our backs you shouldn’t have the audacity to blame us for being sceptical of whom we allow to enter our circle, unfortunately we know not of the intentions they have when entering our space; is it love or is it hate? With so many ups-and-downs we fail to elevate an appropriate answer. With people loving and appreciating us for what they’ve been receiving from us, how do we know they’ll be around when tailors run out of material to fit them and how do we know they’ll stick around when photographers run out of places to make them look good?

Looking at people around us and wondering why we ever allowed them to enter our space. With doubt and mêlées in our hearts we fail to reason a couple of our intentions. Could we have pretended to be dull in order to avoid their attention or could we have avoided their company from the start?

There’s a voice in our heads telling us what to do but we keep ignoring this voice, unfortunately when we realise the truth behind this voice it’s a fragment too late. The truth is we’ll always know what to do, we’ll always know what will benefit us but we tend to ignore this little prudent voice in our heads; for the mere fact that we fear being judged or being called rude. We’d rather be a perfect fit instead of being our own puzzle.

With remorse of being associated with individuals who lack a vision in their life, people who live without any thoughts about their tomorrow. Cutting people off our lives is hard but it’s certainly worth it.
