I just had a peak of what the future holds, a world where mamma won’t have to tell any student to be quiet, where mamma spends more time with her children instead of worrying if her kids have eaten, a world where mamma doesn’t have to lift a finger because her nails are done, a future which beholds seeds of life where mamma receives every rand she lost trying to keep her children smiling and a world where she smiles from inside instead of hiding her hurt in order for her children to worry less about the present and focus on the future.
We tend to see their struggle when they are absent, we see their sweat when there’s so little they can do for us and we’re constantly shown how unfaithful life really is. If only we could take away the words that caused pain in their hearts; we were hurting ourselves we didn’t deliberately hurt them to feel better now did we? Could you live forever? Hate that life will one day hide you forever? Is there a way you could treat me as the infant I am to you? Could you promise to love me with these few years I have left?
I’m selfish, even when you wore you’re ring I failed to see your hurt... how could any human being mistreat a queen, how could one human being be such a queen.
Living angel, leaving angel.
Even though we fight, a lot... you’ll always be a mother to me and even though I tent to mistreat you, know that from the bottom of my sinful heart... I love you and pray my kids have the chance to meet you. (If I have any)
