Dancing to the flow

It’s not about the money nor is it about the fame we’re chasing; striving not to be known or break records but we’re in pursuit of a decent ‘hello’ and occasional breakfast being made for us. Being part of a family, knowing that our problems will be cared for without the risk of telling a foe what we’re dealing with. Constantly being skeptical about whom we discuss our tribulations knowing very well that quite a number of people are joyous that we’re in pain.

We’re in battles of chasing our own numbers and not what society paints as success, selling our own stories and being content with our own progress. Dancing under the moonlight to African drums we don’t need any radio play, constantly putting our own work on our tongues we don’t need a publisher to feed of us.

We just took the longest route to success; we’re trying to stand up all at once instead of celebrating our individual success.
