We were sitting around a bonfire; my heart was sharing stories which my tears couldn’t handle. We were enlightened when our hearts told us stories, what made it laugh, smile and what made heart sad at times. Being selfish we’ve been stumping every individual’s feelings, eyes constantly starring at others flaws, mind spreading every fault we encounter instead of fixing what’s on the mirror and our emotions drifting to individuals who we share grounds with, we’ve looked down on people who are below us.
Envious of every success that isn’t ours, we’ve drifted towards ourselves to a point of wanting global success for ourselves, the perfect hair, the perfect eyes, the perfect personality and the perfect skin; forgetting we can’t have it all.
We’re judging individuals with flaws on their outer garments and appreciating people who are half dead inside.
