Memory lane

If I opened up, would that add to the spark or would my tears wet the wood? If I invited you to dwell in my tree house, would we live happily ever after or would my demons weigh us down? If I said your eyes were beautiful, would you thank your partner or would you thank your best friend?
With all the innocence hidden in your eyes, why would you convince me to become a victim of your love? Let my words stumble upon one another, for your ravishing presence has poisoned my thoughts; taking my heart for a stroll down memory lane, when the love was really from the heart and not well thought of.
Met you through complications, hidden in a vase which I accidently dropped. I heard you were an angel but I failed to believe you could fly, I heard your heart was pure but failed to believe there could possibly be enough room for me and I heard you weren’t looking to start a conversation with anyone but failed to believe you gave me enough time to voice my feelings for you.
