Concerned on what we'll find

This part of our lives is where we’re more concerned about how things will turn out to be in the future, not concerned about how many friends we’ve been losing, we’re tapping our shoulders for the number of business partners we’ve been making. In the long run we pray all will be worth it; we rarely went out, constantly preparing a future where Picaso paintings would be on our walls but later realised in life that we’re art ourselves.
Walking through the bushes we managed to find ourselves, our past dumped in mud and our future engraved with a map leading us to success we prayed they knew the destination. Mixed words and unexplained phrases they called us the gods of words when we were just explaining how we felt inside. We threw the ball at every person we met only to find out we were the key players the team ever needed to win. Walking sober we managed to afford managers who saw potential in our work instead of finding managers who saw a plate in our work.
We dried our tears when we wrote from the heart, believing that every individual would relate to what was on our minds. We would deliberately stab ourselves in order to write better still trying to cover more miles.
