It's about time

We tend to sink our thoughts in belief that our companions love us for what we’re giving back to them, we might grow the impression that certain individuals are only on our shoulders for the mere fact that we’re helping them meet their ends. We believe that all we ever had were friends who desired what was in our pockets when the truth was that our companions are more satisfied with spending quality time with us, all they ever desired was our time and not what was in our pockets.

What we’re putting on the table when we’re contributing comes as a blessing to true companions who seek a brighter future with us. We live and we learn, we add more years to our names while opening friendships that were gifted by our good deeds.

In due course we pray we’ll be opening bottles to celebrate what we have instead of opening bottles trying to bottle up our feelings.
