We are yearning for a stable career; we yearn for a loving family and a place to call home. We’re walking barefoot on uncut grass still trying to find ways to remind us of our past, the joys of pushing cars that were made from wire pretending they were real, walking inside a box believing you were home.
We’ve came this far with just our talent when institutions looked over its shoulder with pity in its eyes; we’ve felt the unbearable pain of being misused and mislead trying to convince us that they’d shelter us, when they’ve been catering for just our talents.
Learning how to cut negative thoughts from our lives, constantly being taught that a lot individuals come and go but will have the nerve to call you salty, the irony.
