“John, your name is John right? Can you make sure all the cameras are turned off... you don’t have any wires on you right? There’s no need for you to anxious, this isn’t something serious, and I’d like to know something... shall we? Are you God?”
Actions of the innocent are not displayed on big screens, the mere fact that media focuses on just the negative doesn’t mean they aren’t good and for the mere fact that they publicly admit their feelings isn’t solid reason for us to believe them. We have paid tribute to whatever is displayed for our eyes to feast on and forgotten anything else, modern role models are painted by our own media, they drive us into loving them even more and even change our paths of devotions.
We, the society have put our own trust on scripted actions and forgotten dearly about what happens when cameras are turned off and wires are removed.
“Why haven’t you gone on television with your accomplishments?”
“Accomplishment? You think giving is an accomplishment...?”
“Where are you going? We’re not done!”
