“Sorry miss, is it possible for you to leave your feelings at the door. I’m here drinking my coffee, I’m really not looking for love, your friend told me you had it wrapped for me but thank you, I’m good.”

Who drinks their coffee cold, I’d do that if it tasted good, we’re here knowing very well it’s just for a little while, sooner or later our love will get cold, believe you me I’d hate to see you sipping on cold shoulders pretending you don’t care, I know you by now but knowing doesn’t mean you’re what I’m looking for.

Soul searching for the perfect match, it’s a shame we aren’t even a spark, deep down, where your pearls where found you know it can’t be... it hurts that it doesn’t, we’re here faking a smile, cameras are flashing we might as well pull a pose, we’re trying to create an authentic love I hope it lasts forever, we can’t water it, we can’t watch it grow because it doesn’t

“Call me when you get home...”
