I broke a diamond

We could both watch an empty wall whilst we fill our hearts, go deep inside our gallery of thoughts filled with your smile and my satisfaction. Swallow all our pride till our butterflies have no room no more, let’s both watch the sunset, let’s both share wedding vows like we planned to.

Closed my eyes and let music take the wheel, why is it that every destination leads to you? I never wanted kids until the thought of another you arose, I never planned my future until I shared coffee with it and I never wanted you until you became a part of me.

I still write letters to you hoping they never get to your eyes; I still contemplate on what it could’ve been if I never lost the missing key and at times I still wonder if you’re missing... me; at times my own heart holds a gun questioning me.
